Although a native Floridian, Mrs. Branan has called New Mexico home for more than 39 years. For the past 13 years, she has worked for the Moriarty/Edgewood School District in a variety of positions including teaching art and music. Mrs. Branan earned a BA with a major in music from the University of South Carolina and holds a Masters of Religious Education degree as well as a Graduate Specialist degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. She and her husband, Chris, have been married for 37 years as of May, 2022. They have two grown children and two very catered to cats! She teaches children’s’ Sunday School in her local church, enjoys swimming, working Sudoku puzzles, playing the piano, and cross stitch. She loves New Mexico and thinks it is the most wonderful place to live!
