Science Instructor
Amy has a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Governors University in Science Education. She first started to work at EVCA as a substitute teacher in 2019. She then became an Educational Assistant in the Special Education Department helping students in the science and math department in 2020. She has always loved the sciences and was tutoring college anatomy at Utah Valley University in the late 1990s. After getting back into teaching she decided to finish her Bachelors in Science Education. She feels grateful to have been mentored by some of the best administrators and science teachers. She has loved working with the students at EVCA. She is a mother of 6 children, three of them have graduated from EVCA, the other three are still currently attending EVCA. She has a love for science esspecially Biology. She has learned to appreciate and love Physics. She is now teaching Astronomy and has become very passionate about this subject.
