Grammar School Director
Hello, EVCA Parents, Families, and Community. Josh McCleave warmly introduces himself to you as the new Interim Executive Director. Him and his wife have been married for 31 years, and together they have five grown children, and two grandsons. They have lived in the East Mountains since 1995. Mr. McCleave is starting his 32nd year as an educator in New Mexico. He has taught 4th-6th grade general education and elementary technology. He has served as an administrator at all levels pre-K-12 and central office in his 29 years with Moriarty-Edgewood Schools. Mr. McCleave has always been impressed with EVCA’s commitment to their mission of “preserving our nation’s founding principles” and providing a “rigorous education in the humanities, the sciences, and the arts.” This steadfast focus to develop educated, well-rounded, and virtuous citizens is what led him to became an educator in the first place. He is very excited to begin this next chapter in his life and his career at EVCA, and to be active in continuing this valiant mission.
