“Angela Holmes is an East Mountain resident, REALTOR®, and former Department of Defense civilian with more than 24 years of experience in leadership, operations, and public service. As the mother of five children (including two graduates of Texas public schools, one EVCA graduate, and two current EVCA students) she has experienced firsthand the impact that excellent schools can have on students and families.

Angela is committed to preserving EVCA’s classical mission, supporting students, families, and staff, and ensuring the school continues to provide an exceptional education for future generations of New Mexico students through transparent, thoughtful, and responsible governance.”

“Katie M. Spaeth is an attorney and dedicated community advocate who brings a strong commitment to fairness, transparency, and responsible governance. With years of legal experience analyzing complex issues, negotiating solutions, and ensuring accountability, Katie is prepared to bring a thoughtful, disciplined approach to the school board.

As a parent and active community member in Edgewood, Katie understands the importance of safe schools, strong academics, and open communication with families. Katie is committed to supporting educators, strengthening student outcomes, and ensuring that district decisions are made with clarity, integrity, and the long‑term well‑being of students in mind.”

“Michelle Kelton is a New Mexico native and an East Mountain resident since 2003. In 2017, she received a Master’s degree from UNM in Organization, Information, and Learning Science and currently works as a contractor with the Department of Energy.

The Kelton family has had a student enrolled at EVCA since the doors opened in 2012, including two alumni, and all have greatly benefitted from the excellent education. Michelle is dedicated to growing and improving EVCA to ensure the school can serve future generations in the East Mountains by serving on the governing council and keeping true to the school’s mission.”
